I hold her sleeping form for a long time before I can force myself from her side to shower and dress.  We have landed back on the pleasure planet and I find that barely an hour has passed for Jack since we left.  I wonder at Verity's suddenly more precise movements through time and space; in some ways it as if she has functioned better since the ( Read more... )
